post the twentieth

I can't say that I have anything particularly on my mind right now, but it's been a little while since I've posted here (okay, five days, not that long), so I thought I'd check in.

Hello, everyone.

I like to spell correctly when I type, as well as adhering to grammatical and punctuation rules. It doesn't matter which forum I'm in. I insist on expressing myself properly. I refuse to type in all lower case letters. I must spell everything correctly. "thx" is not a word, no matter how often it is used.

I will NOT engage in 1337 5p33k. It's just not going to happen, sorry.

I suppose I just like the way words look when you use them properly. It makes me feel that much smarter. You might say that it's a pride issue. Feel free to think what you will. I just like typing properly.

And now, a random picture of some clam juice.

- Optimistic.

Did you know that someone did a study and decided that most people learn to read by recognizing the shapes of words? That's why it's such a headache to read documents IN ALL CAPS.

Ah, the random things you learn in classes you never wanted to take...

in what context would one consume that nastiness? as post-workout rehydration? with a plate of pasta primavera? out on the town with one's buddies? and where the heck would one find it? surely not at the 7-11 on the corner. i'm torn between utter confusion and extreme curiosity. (also much amusement.)

forgive the lack of capitals. it's more an aesthetics thing for me. i'm not too lazy to use my shift key; i just like the little letters.

Since you didn't even spell l337 correctly, by all means don't write it.

I remember back in the day when l337 was actually cool and not just poseurcool with a bunch of 13 year olds with anger management issues.

:jibbly-jibblies: clam juice?! :retch:

And leet speak's cool. Sometimes and in some places. Kinda like redoubt said. So, basically I have nothing original to contribute... 'cept a course the jibblies!
