post the sixty-seventh

I have done a good thing, friends. I was searching through Wikipedia while reviewing for my Soviet Russia final, and found an article that wasn't there that needed to be. Being the benevolent being that I am, I decided to create it.

I feel really good about myself right now. I'm so proud. You can read it (it's about the Shakhty trial) if you want, but I don't know if you'll find it quite as interesting as I did. Rest assured that I'm very pleased with myself right now.

Oh, how exciting!

This is kind of like how actors have to say something in a movie (and not just be extras) to be able to join the Screen Actors' Guild. Many people are assigned lines as extras, and then their parts get cut from the movie. It gets to be a big deal to get the line, because then they can get jobs that they couldn't before.

You posted an article on Wikipedia! Wow. Welcome to having been published by an extensive, useful site online.

Too bad you don't get banquets or benefits for it. Or jobs.

I'm proud of you, Optimistic! It isn't everyone who could add to Wikipedia about the Shakhtv trial! (There's no way I could have.)
